This plate stems from the AFTERGLOW Series. A series of prints I did when having been fascinated by the second blossom of the plants, when they create the packaging of their seeds, the future generation. The guiding idea for the color was glowing amber in grey ash. Decay and life alike, past and future. The title of this interpretation comes from the dreamy, landscapelike background where I applied a rubberroller rather painterly. Some pencillines emphasize in a subtle way the hilly flow of a blueish landscape.
