This plate stems from the AFTERGLOW Series. A series of prints I did when having been fascinated by the second blossom of the plants, when they create the packaging of their seeds, the future generation. And each year the generous cycle of nature is repeated and she gives anew a bounty of seeds and future plants.

Below you can see different colorinterpretation of this etching. Each is a unique piece, rendered in a very painterly approach of inking and wipin the plate by hand. By treating a copperplate etching this way, each print is just not duplicable and becomes an unique individual piece of art.
